Testing jumps

Testing two new jumps. Nothing big (unless you unleash Drea), just some mid-trail jumps thrown into the mix to make it all more enjoyable.

120fps. Simple edit. With sound.

Preview: E13 LG1 pedal 2015 (generation2)

E13 has put out a 2.generation of its LG1 pedal. Take a look:

Huuge platform. Please land your aircraft here.. The inner body is alu, the outer is impact absorbing polycarbonate.

At 471grams these are definately not the lightest pedals. Nor the thinnest. There is a Ti-Axle version available, thats about a 100grams lighter.

Ahh the pins...Pins can make or break a pedal, and these pins are fahkin awesome! So one of the things E13 changed for the second generation of this pedal, is the size of the pins, they made them thinner take make them more grippy.

The spin control lets you control how much resisitance the spinning is giving, I like that as I like my pedals to pretty much stay in place when I lift my foot. The axle sits on self lubricating IGUS bushings.

Besides 4mm pins, I bought these massive 7mm pins as well. However, the grip is so good with the 4mm pins, that I havent had any incentive to try the longer pins...

So my initial thoughs are very positive! These pedals stick like glue to five-ten shoes, They feel sturdy and has a quality to them. They are big in both directions, and the pins are placed all the right places. Other than that there is not much to say, still testing them, and I expect to have a review ready soon.

Mr.Madsen and his home built camera-trigger-system. I bet it works great, thing was Mr.Madsen forgot the batteries tho'.....

This is the new Renthal Fatbar Carbon. 780mm wide, according to Renthal this bar is pretty much indestructible, and the carbon is laced in a manner that makes the bar flex in a specific way. All I'm going to say is that there is something about Renthal bars.. They just feel right.

226grams. Uncut. 30mm rise.

Stay tuned for more randoms.

Lost pics from May

A few shots from last month, that didn't make the cut. Pretty much random shots, check it out:

Mr.Madsen standing on top of a (road?)gap in a German bikepark. What we didn't really get was how to ride it..

..you see, the run-in was short and awkward, and you where supposed to air it riiiight into the outlined green zone where the transition began... We failed every single time *facepalm*

Hitting it, and slamming into the red-zone... gah

I now officially hate my E13 wheels, and here's why;

-They are soft.
-Making them tubeless is a fucking pain in the ass, for several reasons.
-The bead-hooks are too small.
-E13 has still not released their Tubeless conversion kit.
-Louder than a truck filled with hungry babies.

I gave them a good amount a gorilla tape, filled it with stans..and somehow these wheels still fucked up. Never had any problems with my Mavics.

Oh did I mention that I made a huge dent in the rear wheel? So much that future attempts on a tubeless setup is futile.
